Strings Automation, a company specializing in industrial automation solutions, needed a sophisticated web platform to manage and monitor their IoT-enabled automation systems. The challenge was creating a secure, real-time dashboard that could: authenticate and authorize users across different organizational hierarchies, display live data from hundreds of connected sensors and devices, provide intuitive controls for complex industrial equipment, generate comprehensive reports for maintenance and compliance, and ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical operations. The platform needed to handle high-frequency data streams while maintaining security standards required in industrial environments.
Our Solution
Lumenware Studio designed and developed a robust industrial automation platform with an intuitive, data-rich interface. We implemented a secure authentication system with role-based access control to ensure proper authorization across different user levels. The platform features: real-time dashboards displaying device status, sensor readings, and system health metrics; interactive controls for managing automation sequences; advanced data visualization tools for trend analysis; automated alerting systems for anomalies and maintenance needs; and comprehensive reporting modules for compliance and operational insights. We utilized WebSocket connections for real-time data streaming, implemented efficient data caching strategies, and designed a responsive interface that works across desktop and tablet devices. Security was paramount—we implemented OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, and encrypted data transmission to protect sensitive industrial data.
